Artistic and Educational Director: Josh Darby
Josh (he/they) is a graduate from CWU with a BA in Theatre Arts: Youth Drama (2008) and SCT’s Teaching Artist Apprentice Program (2013) and TATLab (2019). They have worked in children’s theatre as a director, teaching artist, actor, writer in Seattle, Los Angeles and the Tri-Cities since 2005. Josh has taught countless classes and subjects in their career but their specialties are in Story Drama and Improv. They have directed many shows over the years including, Holes, Little Women: The Musical, Peter and the Starcatcher, The Hobbit, Beauty and the Beast, Keeping Mr. Lincoln, Matilda, The Great Gatsby, Into the Woods, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, and Tom Sawyer.

Executive Director: Anne Spilman
Anne (she/her) is a proud graduate of Kennewick High School, Pacific Lutheran, and Western Governors University. Anne grew up in the Tri-Cities and participated in ACT’s first Main Stage musical in 1995. She is honored to be leading ACT with mission-driven programing, capital growth, creative fundraising, and community outreach.

Outreach Director: Julie Shroeder
Julie (she/her) has been involved in many different aspects of theatre for almost 50 years. She’s been a Teaching Artist at ACT since 1999, and director of the award-winning Troupe and Troupers since 2000. Julie joined the ACT team in 2007 and is currently the Outreach Director. Julie is certified in Drama for Autism, and in 2009 created Spectrum on Stage, a Drama program for the neurodiverse community.

Music and Operations Director: Adrienne Fletcher
Adrienne (she/her) is an advocate for arts education. As such, she holds many roles in the Tri Cities Arts Community; drama teacher at Tri-Cities Prep, and a guest conductor and pianist for the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers to name a few. In addition to Music and Operations Manger for ACT, she currently serves as the Music Director of the Mid-Columbia Youth Symphony Orchestras and the Assistant Conductor of the Mid-Columbia Symphony.
Fletcher holds a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting and Vocal Performance/Pedagogy from Central Washington University and a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree in Harp from Pacific Lutheran University. A native of Forest Grove, Oregon, she currently resides in Richland, Washington with her two cat companions.

Box Office Manager: Sandra Wilson
Sandra (she/her) has been involved with theatre since childhood. She received her AA from CBC in 2000. While there, she performed with Blue Ladder Players and a traveling Shakespeare group. She went on to receive her BA in Theatre from Seattle Pacific University in 2002, In 2003, she join ACT teaching Backyard Productions. She also started helping out in the box office for ACT. She fell in love with the production side of theatre. She gets to hear the excitement of the patrons as they are coming into a show and how amazed they are when they leave. She loves to hear how everyone has different favorite parts of the show .She's worked with Valley Theatre Company in Prosser as an actor as well as backstage helping with props, sets, lights and sound.

Marketing and Special Events Manager: Kyla Haren Moye
Kyla (she/her) developed a passion for community as a youth in the Academy of Children’s Theater since 2005! This laid the groundwork for her ability to do a bit of everything – and her DIY moxie. Although her title is officially Special Events and Marketing Manager, Kyla lends her professional, dynamic and energetic personality to all sorts of roles at ACT. We are fortunate to have her on our team!

Preschool Director and Teaching Artist: Jessica Cole
Jessica Cole (Gaulke) (she/her) is an ACT alumni and mother of two who has been involved in the ACT community for over 20 years. She earned degrees in Early Childhood Development and Theater from Eastern Washington University, and has since been cultivating arts-based education practices while raising her own children. Jessica loves facilitating experiences for kids that enrich their love for learning and performing. She believes that the arts give young children an opportunity to express themselves freely, leading to self-discovery and emotional and personal growth.

Production Manager: Lisa Howell
Lisa i(she/her) s thrilled to share her passion for theater and her experience at ACT. She has been involved in many productions at ACT for the last 12 years, both as a staff member and a volunteer. She loves to welcome new people and help them out in any way she can. Lisa’s goal is to put on a fantastic show that will make the cast, crew, and audience feel the magic of theater. Theater is more than just entertainment, it's a way of expressing yourself, connecting with others, and learning new skills. Lisa invites you to join her on this amazing journey and discover the joy of theater.

Technical Director: Clint Howell
Clint (he/him) loves sharing his love of Technical Theatre to all the people who pass through ACT’s doors. He has been involved at ACT for 12 years ever since his family decided to become involved in theatre. Clint supports his wife, Lisa, in her goal to put on a fantastic show that the cast, crew, and audience feel magic by making sure the technical elements of the show are running smoothly. You will often find Clint in the tech booth or moving undetected backstage, even if there is not a show actively going on.

Education Assistant and Lead Teaching Artist: Tayler Riley
Tayler (she/her) has been a part of ACT’s family since 2011. Starting as a student involved in plays and performances groups, she became an intern in 2016 which sparked her love for teaching. Tayler has been teaching since 2020, and is excited to transition to her new role as Education Assistant.

Marketing Coordinator: Brandon Harbo
Brandon (he/him)became involved with ACT in 2009 as a student taking classes, performing in Main Stage productions, and working as an ACT high school intern. Through his time at ACT, he fell in love with the theatrical arts. He is a lifelong creative and patron of the arts, particularly the performing arts, and you will often find him attending many creative events around the Tri-Cities. He loves to use his knowledge and passion as the Marketing Coordinator to help ACT grow, reach new students, and achieve its mission of providing quality theatrical arts for students in our area. You can often find him snapping photos at ACT shows and events and even occasionally helping out with teaching classes too!!

Office Specialist: Kelsey Pontarolo
Kelsey (she/her) is born and raised in Richland. She grew up participating in competitive dance and cheer, which has helped her to become a choreographer for musicals in the Tri-Cities area, mainly at Hanford High. She now works at ACT in the office and is happy to be in the theater environment full time!

Director: Emily Richman
Emily (she/her) holds a BA in Theatre Arts and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and has been involved in theatre for 25 years. She is a professional counselor, comedian, and event host, and works with many local theatre companies including Mid Columbia Musical Theatre, and The Rude Mechanicals. Her recent resume includes Jesus Christ Superstar, Plaza Suite, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Nancy Drew: Girl Detective.

Facilities: Ethan Gotthold
Ethan (he/him) is a senior at Richland High School and a an ACT Educational Apprentice. He works with many different theatre groups as a technical director, stage manager, and many other things! He also enjoys volunteering at with his Taekwondo dojo. Ethan is happy to help in whatever capacity is needed at ACT, even if it is mopping floors.

Teaching Artist: Alexis Williams
Alexis (she/her) is an ACT Alumni who has interned at ACT since 2018. During her high school years she got the opportunity to study Early Childhood Education at Tri Tech Skills Center, and will be continuing her education at Boise State pursuing a degree in theatre. Alexis is excited to teach and has a passion for serving others.

Teaching Artist: Debi Teague
Retired music teacher, Debi Teague (she/her), has over 30 years experience working with young choirs. She has also directed music for several ACT productions. Debi volunteers at her church where she has also worked with kids and music for decades. Her favorite activities now revolve around family time, especially dancing and singing with her grandson.

Teaching Artist: Isabella Frantz
Isabella (she/her) is an alumni of ACT’s program. She is passionate about all things creative and equitable. She is currently a student at Washington State University, pursuing a degree in teaching with an endorsement in special education.

Teaching Artist: Jackson Yale
Jackson Yale (he/him) is an ACT alumni that has been a part of ACT’s team for over 10 years. He is a recent graduate of Washington State University with a bachelors in elementary education. He loves the arts and what that does for children both in education and in theatre.

Teaching Artist: Zanna Stone
Zanna (she/her) has a Masters in Education and has previously taught 2nd grade at St. Joseph’s School. She grew up dancing and became a certified dance instructor with the Royal Academy of Dance. She then trained with Maine State Ballet where she learned to love Balanchine style of dance. Her specialty is ballet and jazz but she enjoys all forms of dance. Two of her children love acting and they are involved at ACT so Zanna enjoys sharing her dance knowledge to help the students at ACT become more experienced in dance.
